Temanggung, Central Java – July 30, 2026 – As part of the Community Service Program (KKN-T IDBU Team 21), Syahidah Dyah Salsabila, a Public Administration student from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Diponegoro University, developed a public service flowchart and administrative document requirements guide for residents accessing civil administration services at the Campuranom Village Office, Bansari District, Temanggung Regency.
The initiative was carried out in response to the recent relocation of the Campuranom Village Office to a new building. During her community service activities, Salsabila observed that the public service area was still relatively empty and lacked clear information regarding administrative service procedures. As a result, residents had limited guidance on the steps required to obtain civil administration services, highlighting the need for more accessible and user-friendly public information.
Recognizing this need, Salsabila proposed the development of a public service flowchart accompanied by a list of required documents for various civil administration services. The proposal was welcomed by the village government, as no printed service guidelines had previously been available in the new office. The initiative was expected to enhance the office’s information facilities while supporting more efficient public service delivery.
The service guide was carefully designed to present each stage of the administrative process alongside the supporting documents that residents need to prepare before submitting their requests. The information was organized in a simple, structured, and easy-to-understand format, allowing community members to clearly understand the procedures for accessing public administrative services at the village office.
The availability of these service guidelines helps residents obtain accurate information before requesting administrative services, reducing confusion and improving the overall service experience. At the same time, the guide assists village officials in providing consistent and well-organized information regarding administrative procedures, thereby supporting more efficient and transparent public service delivery.
For Salsabila, this initiative represents the practical application of Public Administration knowledge acquired during her academic studies. Beyond simply providing informational materials, the project contributes to strengthening public service quality by making government services more informative, accessible, and responsive to community needs.
The program also contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, especially Target 16.6, which promotes the development of effective, accountable, and transparent institutions at all levels. By providing clear information on administrative procedures and required documents, the initiative enhances transparency, improves public access to government services, and supports accountable public administration.
Through this community engagement initiative, KKN-T IDBU Team 21 demonstrates its commitment to improving the quality of public services in Campuranom Village. The newly developed service guidelines are expected to continue supporting a public administration system that is more informative, transparent, user-friendly, and better aligned with the needs of the local community.
