Kuala Lumpur – Faola Amelia Silalahi, a student of the S1 Public Administration Study Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, participated in the Education Impact Study International (EI-SI) Vol. 5 program held from April 16–20, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Her participation was supported through the Student Go International program within the framework of the World Class University (WCU) initiative, as part of efforts to encourage students to gain academic and cultural experiences at the global level.
The international program, organized by Edupact, carried the theme “The Art of Global Learning: Education, Culture and Perspective – Study Lead to Malaysia.” The program aimed to develop the capacity of young people through cross-cultural learning experiences, strengthen international insight, and enhance leadership, communication, cooperation, and collaboration skills.
Over the five-day program, participants engaged in various educational and cultural activities in an interactive format. The series of activities began with an opening ceremony and university tour, followed by educational visits, sharing sessions, city exploration, and cultural exchange activities that introduced the social and cultural diversity of Malaysian society.
Through these activities, participants not only gained academic insight and international experience but also had the opportunity to develop critical thinking, leadership, adaptability, and networking skills in a multicultural environment. Various discussion and collaboration sessions also encouraged participants to understand the importance of innovation and the contribution of young people in addressing global challenges and supporting sustainable development.
Faola, as a delegate from Public Administration at FISIP Undip, stated that this activity provided a very valuable experience as it opened up opportunities to learn directly in an international environment.
“Through this program, I learned many new things, from culture and global ways of thinking to the importance of building relationships and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds,” said Faola.
During the event, Faola also successfully won the Best Role Model Delegate award as a form of appreciation for her active participation, contributions, and leadership skills demonstrated throughout the program.
The participation of Public Administration students from FISIP Undip in this international activity is expected to strengthen students’ enthusiasm to continue developing their potential, broaden their global perspectives, and become young people who are adaptive, innovative, and internationally competitive.
